What is Carbon Window Film?
Our carbon based window film series is made using Nano Carbon Black technology which uses carbon for its color and not dye. (Dye turns purple).
This series has increased solar benefits when compared to dyed and HP films and comes in three shades with a lifetime warranty.
Our Carbon film Nanofilms is neither conductive nor contains metal particles, thus it will not cause any signal interferences.
Carbon will never fade to purple.
It is constructed with Nano particles of carbon in between the layers which enables the film to be extremely color stable.
Nano-Carbon construction
Our automotive window films Nanofilms are manufactured with the highest quality materials for maximum performance. Our Nanofilms are manufactured in five layers:
- mounting adhesive
- 1st layer of polyester
- laminate adhesive
- 2nd Layer of polyester
- hard coat
The magic happens in the laminate adhesive layer. In this layer, nano particles of carbon give the film its shade and give it increased solar benefits.
The hard coat is strong and durable due to the nano-oxide material injected into the layer. We are all about nano technology.
Does our Nano-Carbon film block UV rays?
YES! In fact all our films, from color-stable dyed, and our 3 Nano Films – Nano-Carbon, Nano-Ceramic, and UltraNano Ceramic – block 99 % of UVA & UVB.
In fact, the Skin Cancer Institute recommends window film in general to protect people from skin cancers.
